Is it Permissible to Eat Dry Meat and Dry Fish?

Question: What is the ruling on eating dry meat and dry fish?

Answer: It is permissible to eat dry meat as well as dry fish. It is mentioned in a Hadith.

“A tailor had invited the Messenger of Allah Sallahu Alahi Wasllam for a meal which he had prepared. Even I accompanied the Prophet Sallalaahu Alahi Wasallam. That person presented bread and gravy with dry meat and pumpkin to the Prophet Sallalaahu Alahi Wasllam. I noticed that the Messenger of Allah Sallalahu Alihi Wasllam was searching for pieces of Pumpkin in the vessel and eating them. After that day, I stated loving Pumpkin.”

Question:  It is popular here that a woman cannot recite Fatihah for her deceased ones. It is permissible for a woman to recite Fatihah 9for deceased)?

Answer: It is totally permitted for a woman to recite Fatihah for her deceased ones.

Answer: Yes, there is no legal (Shari’i) harm, in this.

Does Sweating Break Wudu?

Question: I would like to know if after exercise wudu is necessary for prayer or a proper bath or ghusl due to excessive sweating.

Answer: Sweating does not break Wudu or Ghusl, Yes, if the sweat gives unpleasant odour then Ghusl is recommended. However, if the time of Salah is short (meaning you don’t have time to wash yourself peoperly) then pray Salah and there will be no need of repeating it.

An Engaged Couple Texting Each other

Question: Nowadays it is commonly seen that after engagement, the couple communicate with each other through texting or phone call. Is this Permissible?

Answer: A fiancé is non-mahram, communicating with a non-mahram without any legal (shar’i) necessity is impermissible, be it through any means. It is mentioned in the fifth volume of ad-Durr ul-Mukhtar in the Book of Prohibited and Permitted things, Communication by texting is also haram (prohibited)

It is said: “The pen is a tongue from the two tongues.”
