Hajj – Prayer of Makaam-e-Ibrahim

Hajj – Prayer of Makaam-e-Ibrahim

Prayer of Makaam-e-Ibrahim

O Allah Thou art aware of all what I reveal and what I conceal, So accept my appeal of forgiveness and Thou knoweth my needs. So grant me what I demand. And Thou knoweth what is in my heart. So forgive all my sins.

O Allah I beseech Thee to grant me a belief which may sink into my heart. True belief that I may realize. That no misfortune may befall me. Except that what Thou hast decreed for me.And grant me pleasure on that what Thou hast destined for me. Thou art my patron in this world and Hereafter. O my Lord make me to die as a Muslim. And join me to the righteous. O Allah let not remain any of our sins unforgiven. And any anxiety unrequited, and any demand uneasen and ungranted to me. At this Sacred Place. O our Lord ease for us our affairs, and expand for us our breast, and enlighten our hearts. And conclude our affairs with goodness. O our Lord Allah make us to live as Muslim. And join us to Thy righteous. Save us from humiliation and trials, Lord of Universe. Aameen.

From Maqam-e-Ibrahim go to Zamzam well. This is about 15 metres from Maqam-e-Ibrahim and lies underground to Mataf i.e, the place of Tawaaf. Drink Zamzam in three breaths in a standing position. Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) has said that for whatever purpose the Zamzam is drunk, it is achieved. The Zamzam may also be poured or sprinkled over the head or rubbed on face and breast as sacred water. After drinking Zamzam beseech Allah for your prosperity in this world and hereafter and recite the following du’aa: What to be recited when Drinking Zamzam?

Conditions of The blessed Pilgrimage – Hajj

Conditions of The blessed Pilgrimage –  Hajj

Pilgrimage – Hajj

  1. One must be a Muslim.
  2. One must be an adult.
  3. One must be sane.
  4. A woman must travel with her husband or a Mahram (a man she cannot marry at all).
  5. The pilgrim should have sufficient money for his journey as well as for his dependants whom he leaves at home.Hajj is only for Allah Ta’alaVerser: “And for the sake of Allah, the people are to perform pilgrimage to this house, who could find a way there.” (Surah Aal E Imran, Verse 97)

Hajj is obligatory upon those who can “make their way” to Makkah. That is to say that the requirement is not absolute, but incumbent upon those whose health and means permit it, and who in doing so, do not compromise their responsibilities towards their families. Hajj relates to the life of tests and trials lived by Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (Alahissalam) and his son Prophet Hazrat Ismail (Alaihissalam) in the vicinity of Makkah.

The Second Day of Hajj 9th Zil Hajj Yaum-e-Arfa

The Second Day of Hajj 9th Zil Hajj Yaum-e-Arfa

“Bismil Laa-hir.Rahmaa-nir-Raheem””Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

The Second Day of Hajj (9th Zil Hajj) Yaum-e-Arfa On 9th zil hajj, after dawn you have to move towards “Arafat.” It is allowed to move towards Arafat in night because of crowd. It will be afternoon to reach Arafat. The time of Waqoof-e-Arafat (to stop in Arafat) starts after sunset. Remember to gather in the ground of Arafat on 9th zil hajj is the most important rukn (ritual) of Hajj. If a pilgrim performed each and every rukn of hajj but did not stop in Arafat after sunset on 9th zil hajj till sunrise on 10th zil hajj in Arafat, his hajj will not be done. That is why; each and every moment of this rukn (ritual) of hajj should be spent with great preparation. While going to Arafat from Mina and while staying in Arafat, read talbiyah, darood shareef, and fourth Kalima, which Holy Prophet Muhammad S.A.W read as well as recommended to read, as much as possible. As soon as you see “Jabl-e-Rehamt” after reaching Arafat, read the following tasbeeh o tahleel o takbeer: subhanallahi wal hamdulilahi wala ilaha illallahu wallahuakbar. And pray whatever you want. Jabl-e-rehmat is the mountain on which Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) addressed the Khutba Hijjat ul Wida. If easily possible then take bath with the intention of Waqoof-e-Arfa after sunset in Arafat ground but if there is no such opportunity then do ablution.

Then in Masjid Namra which is in Arafat ground, the Imam on 9th zil hajj will pray for Dhuhr and Asr together at the time of Dhuhr because today it is the command of Allah to offer two prayers together. Firstly, imam will offer fard of Dhuhr and immediately after it will offer fard of Asr. Those pilgrims who are offering prayer behind the imam will offer these two prayers together. But because of intense crowd, it is difficult to reach Masjid Namra and then to return back to camp. So, those pilgrims who are offering prayers alone or offering separately in a group are required to offer Dhuhr at the time of Dhuhr and Asr at the time of Asr. As the time of waqoof-e-arafat is very precious, so, after offering Dhuhr prayer, stand in the direction of Qibla and pray for forgiveness to Allah, praise Allah (hamd o sana), pray to Allah, read darood shareef, and read talbiyah. This act should be continued. After Asr prayer till the time of sunset pray in the court of Allah in an extreme humble manner for you and your parents, relatives and friends, and the whole Muslim nation because it is the special time of acceptance of prayers. If you cannot stand for long then you can sit and pray. Those who are weak and ill can pray while sitting.

Departure To Muzdalifah From Arafat.. Without offering Maghrib prayer move to Muzdalifah from Arafat when sun sets. It takes a long time to reach Muzdalifah. Any time you reach Muzdalifah, the first work you have to do is to offer prayer of Maghrib and Isha’a together at the time of Isha’a in Muzdalifah. Either offer it alone or offer in a group or in the guidance of ameer-ul hajj. The method is that; whichever place you stay in Muzdalifah, call to prayer first, then say Takbeer, and then after offering fard of Maghrib and Isha’a, first offer sunnat of Maghrib, then sunnat of Isha’a, and finally witr. For these two prayers say one call of prayer and one takbeer. This night you have to spend in Muzdalifah under open sky. This night is very beatific. There remains raining of Allah’s light throughout the night. So, it is better to rest for a while after offering Maghrib and Isha’a and then get busy in adoration of Allah. Since it is the night of acceptance of prayers so the whole night pray to Allah for forgiveness, blessings, and benevolence for you, your family, parents, relatives and friends, and for blessing and good of the whole Muslim nation. There is one more important work to do in Muzdalifah. This is to gather seventy pebbles from Muzdalifah. These pebbles should be equivalent in size to bean or to the seed of date. These should not be so big in size. These will be of use to hit Jumrat in Mina for three days. After offering Fajr and praying to Allah in Muzdalifah depart for Mina before sunrise having pebbles with you.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)

Make sure you forward this to others .

Does Sweating Break Wudu?

Does Sweating Break Wudu?

Question: I would like to know if after exercise wudu is necessary for prayer or a proper bath or ghusl due to excessive sweating.

Answer: Sweating does not break Wudu or Ghusl, Yes, if the sweat gives unpleasant odour then Ghusl is recommended. However, if the time of Salah is short (meaning you don’t have time to wash yourself peoperly) then pray Salah and there will be no need of repeating it.

O Muslims! It should be known that human life is of two types.

O Muslims! It should be known that human life is of two types.

Firstly, the worldly life which will last for a limited period and then it will perish. The duration of life, which Allah (Azw’wajjal) our Creator has bestowed upon every individual cannot be increased nor decreased and there is no power in the world that can change this. Secondly, the other life is the everlasting life of the Hereafter which will never perish unlike the uneternal worldly life. The eternal and everlasting life is dependent upon the worldly life; as the way a person spends his worldly life will influence the eternal life. Thus, it is necessary upon every intelligent person that he puts his utmost effort in order to make this temporary life successful. In every second of his life, he should be concerned about ways of perfecting this life so that he gains an ideal life in the Hereafter.

But How can a person Make his worldly life successful?

The answer is that there is only one method by which one can make his worldly life successful and other methods are only to devastate this life. The only method is that he should keep his relations with the Creator and the creation like the way the Beloved Prophet kept his and try to make all the teachings given by the Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) his main aim in life.

In other words, he should follow in the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) until he becomes an ideal reflection of him. His day to day life should be spent the way the Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) spent his days and night, up to the to the extent that he should follow the Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) in every aspect of his life may it be worship, obeying customs and traditions, conversing and travelling, sitting and standing, meeting the old, young and his beloveds, eating, drinking and dressing, cleanliness of the body, when awake or asleep. In other words, in all the actions, manners and customs a person should follow the Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) footsteps till he leaves this temporary world to the eternal world; the Hereafter.

One can observe that in this world, all different nations uphold strongly to their tradition and customs. Up to the extent we see that in order to pass on their customs and traditions, not only have they made financial sacrifices, but have also sacrificed their lives.

However, it is a great shame that the so-called Muslims are renouncing the Islamic customs and traditions and not only this, they have began to adopt the lives, the customs and the traditions of those who have enmity for Islam. This can be observed by the way they talk, walk, eat, drink, and by their behavior and manners. They have become so engrossed in mimicking the life styles of enemies that they have also made their children and women follow that un-Islamic way of life.

They think they are the true lovers of Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) and in actions, they are with the enemies of Allah and His Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam), can we ever class this as true love?!

Our respected brothers and sisters of Islam! Listen, and listen attentively! The King of Madina, the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) had spent his days and nights in such a way that he never forgot remembering Allah. It is this style of life, which will enable us to be successful in the Hereafter.

Farewell Pilgrimage (Hajjatul Vi’da)

Farewell Pilgrimage (Hajjatul Vi’da)

The Prophet Muhammad Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam was in 63rd year of his age. His entire mission was being fulfilled. He announced that he himself would be leading for Hajj. As it was the first and last Hajj, it is known as ‘Farewell Pilgrimage’. He Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam delivered sermon on the back of his she camel, Qasvah. The text of same was as follows:
O People lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether, after this year, I shall be amongst you again. Therefore, listen to what I am saying to you very carefully, and take these words to those who are not present here today.

O People, just as you respect this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one hurts you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Rab’b and indeed He will reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (interest). Therefore, all Intrest Obligations, including intrest of my own uncle ‘Abbas, Shall henceforth be waived.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. If they abide by your right then to them belongs to right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And, it is your right that they do not make acquaintance with any one of whom you do not approve and they never will commit adultery.

O People, listen to me in earthiness. Worship only Allah, offer your five times daily namaz, keep fast during the Holy month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford it. You know that every Muslim is brother of another Muslim. You are all equal. Nobody has superiority over other except by piety and good actions.

Remember, one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your actions and deeds herein. So beware. Do not astray from the path of righteousness after I have gone.

O People, no Prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People understand my words, which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, The Quran and my examples, the Sunnah. If you will follow these you will never go astray.

All these, who listen to me, shall pass on my words to others and those others to next ones and so on.

The last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me nearly directly.

Be witness O Allah, that I Have conveyed your message to your devotees.
