You should pass your journey to Madina Munawwara with excessive recitation of Darood Sharif, Astagfaar and Prayers. When you reach Madina Munawwara, after keeping your baggage safely, take a bath or perform wudu, put on a good dress, use some perfume and reciting Darood Sharif, proceed to Masji-e-Nabvi, also known as Haram Sharif. You should bear in mind that you are going to call at the Greatest person on earth, our best guide and beloved Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam). He sees you when you face him and responds to salaam which you offer him. Our every act against Islam and disobedience shocks him as a patron. The great oriental philosopher poet Allama Iqbal once prayed:
O my Lord Allah give me whatever penalty on my sins, but show not the record of my evil deeds to my beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam), as he will be shocked and his heart will break.
