Khwaja Gharib Nawāz Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu journeyed to Isfahan and there he met with the leader of the Mashā’ikh, Shaykh Mehmūd Isfahanī Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu.
Initially, Khwaja Qutbudīn Bakhtiyār Kākī Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu intended to become a Murīd of Shaykh Mehmūd Isfahanī Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu but when he saw the overwhelming personality of Hazrat Khwaja Gharīb Nawāz Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu, his heart melted in his love and he was the totally captivated by Him.
Khwaja Qutbudīn Bakhtiyār Kākī Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu then became the Murīd of the great Khwaja Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu and remained With him throughout his travels. Certainly, there was no better Murīd of Khwaja Gharīb Nawāz Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu than Khwaja Qutbudīn Bakhtiyār Kākī Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu who could share his secrets. Obviously, there was no better Murshid than the great Khwaja Gharīb Nawāz Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu from whom he could attain the pinnacle of perfection in the spiritual world. Both complimented one another.
